let's read..

Tinea Pedis is basically the infection of toes or soles. Rarely It may also spread to other parts of the body.

Tinea pedis is a fungal infection that causes the skin to become irritated and itchy. It is also known as athlete's foot.

The most common symptom of tinea pedis is itching, followed by scaling, redness, and dryness of the skin. The skin may also crack or peel.

The signs and symptoms include pain, swelling  and erythema of the affected area.

In some cases, Itching may be there.

In very rare cases, there may occur eruptions of vesicular lesions in the soles.

It can be diagnosed by the proper skin inspection.

Infection can be caused by contact with a person who has the infection or from walking barefoot on contaminated surfaces such as locker rooms or public showers.

A foot fungus is a type of fungal infection that affects the feet. The fungus may be present on the skin, in the nails, or in both places.

Some factors that are believed to contribute to the development of foot fungus include:

-Excessively sweaty feet

-Walking barefoot in public areas

-Walking barefoot in pools or spas

-Poorly ventilated shoes or socks

Tinea pedis is a common infection of the feet. It is caused by the fungal organism, which usually grows in warm and moist environments like public showers and locker rooms.

The infection is characterized by redness, itching, scaling, and sometimes cracking or blistering of the skin on the soles of the feet.

Tinea pedis can be prevented by wearing shoes that cover your feet when you are in public places with warm and moist environments.

Tests: KOH test may be performed. Biopsy may sometime be required if diagnosis is difficult with koh test and the proper inspection of the skin.

Thanks and Regards.
