Acne - A brief Introduction

 Acne is a skin condition in which the hair follicles under skin are basically clogged. The pores of the skin gets blocked by the hair, sebum, bacteria's and the dead skin cells. It causes pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, cysts, nodules etc. Acne can be mild or it can be serious as well. Acne can happen at anywhere on the body but it mostly occur on face, forehead, shoulders, chest. Acne can painful when it is severe.

  • Nodules
  • Cysts
  • Pustules
  • Papules
  • Acne Conglobata
  • Acne Mechanica
  • Mild Acne (Few pimples)

Causes of Acne:

  • Acne is usually the hormonal condition like the fluctuating hormone levels.
  • Stress
  • Genetics
  • Certain Medications

Treatment:

The treatment depends on the type and severity. After taking the complete case, we can think of the plan of treatment. In Homoeopathy we have so many medicines for the Acne but don't self medicate. Always consult your doctor before taking any medicine.

Psoriasis: Psoriasis is a common, chronic skin disease. It is basically a immune-mediated disease which can cause inflammation in body.
